Happy, happy, happy!
Per the Vermont City Marathon website:
RACE DAY FORECAST
Three more days until the race, and the weather is still looking great for the marathon!
Good thing the race won’t be today. It’s going to be hot! Temperatures will be well into the 80s, with some locations hitting the 90 degree mark.
But a weak cold front will come through early Friday and bring our temperatures back to more normal levels for this time of year.
One last, fast-moving disturbance will swing through on Saturday, kicking up some clouds and maybe a few showers by later in the day. But it will be out of here by Sunday morning.
So, at this point, it looks like there will be lots of sunshine on Sunday, low humidity, a light North wind, and comfortable temperatures. The low temperature looks to be in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees early Sunday morning. The high temperature will be in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees during the afternoon.
I am breathing an enormous sigh of relief.
