Weather Watch 2009

The weather forecast is now up for Memorial Day Weekend.  I know it’s too soon to get my panties in a bunch but I can’t help it.  When you spend 18 weeks training for a race and become completely consumed by one single goal, it’s hard not to obsess.  Yesterday, the forecast read 62 and cloudy and I was elated.  Today, they are predicting my absolute worst nightmare:  a real feel of 87 degrees with thunderstorms.

Yesterday I prayed that they were right.  Today, I will pray that they are wrong.
